Ryan & Carla's Wedding

So my friends got married on July 17th, and I'm just now posting. I know I'm a huge slacker. This blogging thing is hard to keep up with. But, Hey I'm trying! So here are the wedding pictures:

The best part of the wedding...CAKE! I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to help cut and serve the cake. I helped make (or tried) punch and served it, with my new friend Heather. She should be getting married this weekend, too bad she lives in another state. She coming to visit in November, I can't wait to see her!

With my tight budget and my awesome friends getting married, I had no idea what to get them on their wedding day. I decided to put my crafty skills to the test. I decided on making them knitted homemade washcloths. I also made them a knitted toilet paper roll for their extra tight budget, and for special guests.
Here are the pictures of the handmade things I made. I wish I could have seen their faces when they opened up the gifts! But when I got home I realized that I forgot to put our names on the gifts, but I bet that they figured it out.

You can tell she thinking about her next attack and what she's going to do to me. CRAZY!She keeps attacking me and trying to eat my yarn. LOOK!

Circlesndots

The FINISHED PROJECT! After 3-4 days of it, very rewarding to actually finish something that I started!
So I'm getting bored of doing the same ole' same ole', so I thought that I would venture out and try a new headband pattern. It turned out awful, see for yourself! It was a disaster! This was very difficult for me because it was my first time using 3 needles at one time. I was so frustrated.

Then I decided that I was really doing something wrong or maybe the pattern's just wrong. Nope, it was me...I was completely off!

So I tried again... and this is what it's suppose to look like! Still a work in progress...After I started over again and calmed down the 3 needle thing seemed to become easier and turned out to be relaxing --exactly what I was looking for!
I found this pattern free at brookiellen's blog --Thanks!

Let me know how you're project turns out...post pictures!
